Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is poised to become a global hub for eSports with the announcement of the Saudi Fighting League 2 Major for Tekken 8, set to kick off on March 23rd and conclude on March 24th.
The tournament, part of the eSports initiative spearheaded by the Saudi Arabian Electronic Sports Federation, aims to provide opportunities for the country’s youth and promote healthier activities. Season 2 of the Saudi Fighting League 2 Major has attracted some of the biggest names in Tekken 8, including 4-time EVO and current Tekken World Tour Champion Arslan Ash, and renowned players from Hungary and Pakistan. Hafiz Adeel who was recently signed by Saudi Esports team R8 and Hafiz Tanveer who is signed up by another Saudi team Twisted Minds will also be locking horns.
Saudi Arabia’s talented gamers, such as Raef, Hassan Abul Hassan (aka Fedderer2009), and Aqeel9, will have the chance to prove their mettle and establish themselves among the world’s best.
The tournament will be broadcast live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels of the Saudi Fighting League, starting at 8:00 PM local time. Day 1 will feature pool matches, while Day 2 will showcase the top 8 players competing for the championship title.
