On Friday, Al Nassr came from behind to secure a thrilling 3-1 victory over Al Feiha in a pulsating encounter at Al-Awwal Stadium.
The visitors stunned the home crowd by taking an early lead through Fashion Sakala, who found the net after just six minutes. However, Al Feiha’s celebrations were short-lived, as a VAR check awarded Al Nassr a penalty in the 40th minute. Unfortunately for the home side, they were unable to convert from the spot, leaving the scoreline hanging at 1-0 going into halftime.
The second half saw a resurgent Al Nassr side take control of the match. Abdulelah Al-Amri equalized for the home side in the 72nd minute, before Senegalese superstar Sadio Mane took center stage. Mane netted twice in quick succession, scoring in the 76th and 82nd minutes, to complete the comeback and secure all three points for Al Nassr.
Despite conceding the early goal, Al Nassr’s resilience and attacking prowess ultimately proved too much for Al Feiha. The win sees them maintain their push for the league title, while Al Feiha will be left to rue their missed opportunities.
