NEOM Takes “Discover NEOM” Tour to China

NEOM, a futuristic development project in Saudi Arabia, took its “Discover NEOM” global tour to China, attracting over 500 business and industry leaders in Beijing and Shanghai.

The events, co-organized with CCPIT Beijing and CCPIT Shanghai, featured presentations by NEOM’s leadership team. They highlighted the project’s progress, economic sectors, and investment opportunities for Chinese companies. Discussions between NEOM and interested companies explored potential collaborations.

A dedicated forum explored construction opportunities for over 100 Chinese construction companies, providing details on NEOM’s ongoing construction across its regions.

The highlight was a private showcase titled “Discover NEOM: A New Future by Design.” It offered an immersive experience showcasing NEOM’s key projects:

• THE LINE: A 170-kilometer city designed for the future of urban living.
• Oxagon: A revolutionary industrial zone redefining traditional models.
• Trojena: NEOM’s mountain resort destination.
• Sindalah: A luxury island getaway in the Red Sea, opening later in 2024.

NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr emphasized the importance of China’s collaboration: “We appreciate the support from CCPIT for presenting NEOM’s vision. We’ve already engaged with major Chinese businesses and invested in startups to foster NEOM’s growth. Collaboration with China is crucial, and we look forward to a stronger partnership.”

Representatives from CCPIT Beijing and the Shanghai Municipal Government echoed the potential for collaboration, highlighting areas like infrastructure, renewable energy, and technological innovation.

The China leg joins NEOM’s successful global roadshow that previously visited major cities worldwide.
