Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, who holds multiple titles including Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, expressed his gratitude for the leadership’s unwavering support for the sports sector. He highlighted how this support has been instrumental in driving significant progress across various sports within the Kingdom.
The Saudi Games extend beyond athletic competition, acting as a powerful economic engine. The previous edition generated a substantial SAR750 million in economic activity, offered over 260 million riyals in prizes, and facilitated the creation of nearly 480 jobs.
