The “Data Saudi” platform, a new central hub for accessing and exploring economic and social data, was officially launched in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during the LEAP 2024 tech conference. Introduced by Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim, the platform signifies a significant step towards increased transparency and accessibility surrounding the Kingdom’s economic performance and social landscape.
This initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, a strategic framework aimed at diversifying the Saudi economy and fostering long-term sustainable development. By providing a centralized and user-friendly platform, “Data Saudi” empowers users to delve into key economic and social indicators across the entire Kingdom and its various regions.
Launched in September 2023 as a trial program, the platform has undergone continuous development and now boasts a range of functionalities. Users can now access and analyze data through interactive and visually engaging formats, making it easier to understand complex economic and social trends. This enhanced accessibility aims to empower informed decision-making at both individual and institutional levels, ultimately contributing to the Kingdom’s overall growth and development.
