Riyadh, August 12, 2024 – The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has officially announced the schedule for the highly anticipated 2024-2025 Saudi Women’s Premier League season. The third edition of the league promises heightened competition as ten teams vie for the coveted championship title.
Al Nassr, Al Ahli, Al Shabab, Al Qadsiah, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, Eastern Flames, Al Ula, Al Taraji, and Al Amal will battle it out across 18 matchdays in a double round-robin format, resulting in a total of 90 matches. To further incentivize teams and recognize exceptional performance, SAFF has increased prize money for the second and third-place finishers. The champion will receive SAR2 million, while the runner-up and third-place teams will be awarded SAR1.5 million and SAR1 million, respectively.
Al Nassr, the reigning champions, clinched the 2023-2024 title with an impressive record of 12 wins, one draw, and one defeat, accumulating a total of 37 points.
